Jane Bolling Randolph was the daughter of Richard Randolph and Jane Bolling Randolph of Curles. She married Anthony Walke of Fairfield plantation in Princess Anne County in 1750. The portrait descended in the Walke family.

The subject wears a blue Van Dyck inspired dress with a pink bow at her neckline. She has pearls in her hair. She is turned three-quarters to her left with her right hand touching her bow and her left forearm resting on a marble slab table.
