Stratford Hall

Thomas Lee (1690-1750) acquired the property, known as the Clifts, in 1717. After his home at Machodoc Plantation burned in 1729, he built Stratford Hall. The house remained in the family for several generations.

Today, Stratford Hall is open to the public. See: https://www.stratfordhall.org/
