John Page (1720-1774)

John Page was the son of Mann Page I and Judith Carter Page of Rosewell. He built a home at North End in the 1740s. He married Jane Byrd, daughter of William Byrd II and Maria Taylor Byrd.

The subject wears a brown jacket over a blue waistcoat. He stands outdoors with his right forearm resting on a grass-covered stone plinth. His left hand holds a hat. He is turned three-quarters to his left.
