The portrait represents a woman seated in a wooden chair angled to her right. She wears a blue-green wrap dress with white lining. There is a pink rose at her neckline and pearls in her hair. Her left hand holds a closed fan, her right arm is around her daughter’s shoulder. A little girl leans with her left elbow on her mother’s lap. She wears a white gown. The portrait is signed and dated.
