Mary Isham was the daughter of Henry and Katherine Isham. She married William Randolph of Turkey Island. This portrait appears to have descended at Wilton Plantation, home of William Randolph III. The subject is identified by family tradition. There is a possibility that this portrait actually represents Elizabeth Beverley Randolph (Mrs. William Randolph II).
