Anne Randolph was the daughter of William Randolph III and Anne Harrison Randolph of Wilton. She later married Benjamin Harrison of Brandon Plantation. She was painted as an adult by Francis Cotes.

She holds a basket filled with flowers, which rests on the masonry. A red drapery swag is on the left of the canvas. The canvas is kit-cat sized but turned horizontally.
