Hugh Nelson (1750-1800)

Hugh Nelson was a son of William Nelson and Elizabeth Burwell Nelson of Yorktown. He married Judith Page in late 1770 or 1771. His portrait was destroyed by a fire in 1899. His portrait is attributed to Peale based on the existence of a portrait of his wife.
