William Randolph of Chitower (1770-1848)

William Randolph was the son of Thomas Mann Randolph and Anne Cary Randolph of Tuckahoe.

Dimensions: 29 1/4 x 23 1/2 in. (74.3 x 59.69 cm.)

The subject wears a white and pale pink embroidered gown with a blue ribbon around his waist and knotted at his side. He holds a small brown and white dog, which looks up at him and wears a gold collar with a lock on it. He stands outdoors in a landscape.
