Robert Brodnax was the father of William Brodnax the immigrant who settled at Jamestown. Robert Brodnax was a goldsmith in Holborn. His wife’s name is unknown. This portrait appears to be a late 17th-century English portrait.

Dimensions: 30 x 25 in. (76.2 x 63.5 cm.)

The portrait represents a man wearing a lace cravat and a robe fastened with a jeweled clasp. He appears to hold up a ring.
