Elizabeth Rebecca Brodnax was the daughter of William and Rebeckah Brodnax of Jamestown. The Jaquelin-Brodnax family portraits date to ca. 1720.

The portrait shows a young woman wearing a blue wrap dress with red drapery around her and strapped over her shoulder. She is turned three-quarters to her right. She holds a crown of laurels and stands in a wooded landscape.
